I wonder if Sarah Palin has pardoned another turkey today?
My family is downstairs playing pinball and I am enjoying the 10 minute calm before the cooking storm. Turkey is about to come out of the oven. Everything is prepped for mashed potatoes, green beans sauteed in bacon and shallots, and for my dad, Stove Top Stuffing (hilarious).
I am very grateful for a nice calm day that involved getting up with the cats and having the house to myself until 2pm. Bring on the FOOD!
