Giving up swearing isn't anything like giving up caffeine. Caffeine you have to think about consciously and when you don't have it you've made a choice. Swearing happens a little more automatically and it isn't until after you've sworn (sweared?) that you realize. Ugh. St Vincent de Paul is going to be happy after this 40 days I can tell you.
